Just blogging to remind myself that no matter how shit I may feel, I have friends who I just met or met ages ago who cares. I forget sometimes you see, caught up in worries that aren't really there until I think about it.
8) 8D :D <- cos eyes get smaller the wider your smile. Hahaha
Thanks everyone!
Formal: good. After-formal: good. Malaysian Food Fest: good. Very amused to see that barely anyone can recognise me with a face mask on (for hygiene purposes when dealing with food, not swine flu) and hair up. Maybe I should do that when I step out of the airport back in Brunei to see if my family can recognise me. HAHAHA!
Short post cos got essays (plural). If not I'll blabber on about events.

The Penniless Student
LOL I thought of a way to save money Cynic: Yea, like saving one pound will do much good lol
Replacing McVities milk chocolate biscuit with Nutella-covered Jacob cream crackers! I got some Nutella (about 2 pounds) and put it on Jacob crackers (I think this was 50p for 30 biscuits).
Verdict no. 1: Eating Nutella + biscuit
The texture biscuit was quite dry and not as crumbly as McVities. Nutella made it a bit sweeter than the McVities biscuit. 3/5
Verdict no. 2: Eating Nutella + biscuit + dunk in cold milk
Surprisingly the Nutella stayed on the biscuit quite well and didn't mix with the milk. I like this version better cos the biscuit was less dry. But Jacob crackers don't go with cold milk very well I'm afraid, it either stayed dry or got all soggy. It was like munching paper! Huhu. 3.5/5
Verdict no. 3: Eating Nutella + biscuit + dunk in hot milk
It's better with Milo >> But the Nutella melts in hot melt and is yummy. 4/5 (I really like melt-y chocolate. Hahaha)
Final verdict: I think I have to find a proper cookie-type biscuit for this to work. Crackers go really well with cream cheese and salmon but not Nutella! Or I can just not be karit and buy the original! Lol.
But anyways, I wanna save money cos I have a new resolution of watching two plays each month!! Cos right, I watched 'Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves' Pantomime yesterday with all the Bruneians + Julia minus Jin Yang and it was awesome! So interactive! We had to yell back yes or no, sing along, etc etc! I was sakai for the first 2 hours and then my enthusiasm died a bit cos the jokes lost its freshness (actually, some jokes were pretty lame lol) But anyways, a new play experience! And Nalu the evil king of thieves was awesome. He has this funny way of sniffing that really fits his role!! I think he was the most entertaining actor that night. <3
Gahhhh I wanna watch more plays!!! T____T No time to watch 'Rosencrantz and Guildernstern are Dead' tonight. It's a spin-off from Shakespeare's Hamlet!! Huhu I miss Hamlet and the lessons with Mrs Marriott. Well, actually I got time to watch it if I really push myself but meh. Troublesome. So I'll watch the next production of it... sometime...
Wang, have fun in Philippines! You can do it! :D Don't stress too much but enjoy yourself!!!!!!

There is no place like London
London on Saturday! Saw HH, Pong, Ki and Yee! ^^ Plus some other ex-MSians rather randomly outside waffle house. What to do, Bruneians seem to gravitate towards waffles. Haha!
There was tragedy pulang. Someone got run over by a train so the line to London Liverpool Street was canceled while I was halfway through the journey to London. So I had to travel back to Cambridge to catch a train for London Kings' Cross. I kept thinking about the poor guy who got run over. Did the impact cause the train to shudder or was it like slicing through jelly? I hope it wasn't painful. I hope the poor man had no regrets. It sure did cast a shadow over my mood.
Overlooking that, it was simply awesome. So many funny moments! On the tube, in Next, in Boots, simply walking, in HH's superb accommodation etc etc. I realise I have a problem with the shortness of my legs. Cos if I take normal strides, it's usually half an average person's, so I kept lagging at the back with Ki lol. *Blame genetics :P* But then Yee walks awfully slow too for someone that tall! HAHA. And I was awed by the sheer gorgeousness of HH's communal area + kitchen. They have tables and sofas!! Homerton has a thing against tables so usually my friends and I sit on the floor of our kitchen lol. And then while calling for a taxi, Huan Hui had to wait 10 minutes for a phone operator to finally pick up!! It could have been funny if we weren't late already for the movie that night. Grrr.
The Snow Prince is awesome - first time a film at the movies managed to make me cry. Pong, you should have joined us!! We probably could have smuggled you in as well haha.
To be honest I don't like London. But I love the people. Hehe.
No regrets coming down ^^ Now I have an essay to do!!!!

Hiccup~~!!!!
I am currently suffering from a very very bad hangover. One bottle of sake is not a good idea cos you'd have to crash and climb your way up the stairs to your room, drop the keys while you're struggling to unlock the door while giggling like an inane idiot. Of course, with all wines, throwing up is nearly inevitable. There is a pretty smelly patch by the stairwell.
HAHAHAHAHA!!
Did you believe that? :P
Mummy, Wang told me you were reading my blog. I'm so proud that you're so high-tech now :D But beware!!! :P I couldn't resist typing this entry hehehe. I love you ma~!!!

Turn back time
Am exhausted.
Lol, it's my own fault.
But it's so wonderful to go to Bedford again! I went there yesterday. Although... it was pretty weird as well, going back to an old place where you have lived in for two years and laughed and cried and left... It's like going back to a closed chapter of my life only to realise that this chapter goes on in other people's lives; my teachers, they are mostly still there. And looking at them, I was shocked to see change. They didn't really change per se but it's like I'm looking at them through new lenses, like I empathise with them more? They seemed older, somehow. And I wonder if they feel what scaffolds might feel once the bridge is built and the scaffolds get knocked down.
Lol, enough thinking.
Anyways, I got to see Tiffany, Jessica, the four amigos and of course the old Brunei Bedfordians! And 3/4 of my juniors hehe :D I think that's what I really came for, not the prizes, although it's much appreciated. But the thing is, there was simply not enough time to talk to everyone fully! Maybe 5 minutes or so each person. AHHHH!!!! Although there was time enough to have lunch and watch 2012 with Izyan and Fiqah and the juniors (lol, Fiqah is Zian's guardian!) and the film was awesome. All that deep morals stuff and who would you save come the end of the world. I love films which provoke thought like that :D Sadly Zati and Felicia can't make it. Oh, and the juniors, now seniors, seem so much more mature! Haha.
And then today was overkill! Hahaha! I finally went for a Bruneian weekly jog in the morning. Quite syiok and Yian Nee is an amazing runner. The atmosphere was different to the Homerton jogs because I guess I knew the people I ran with a little bit better. It's funny, how when I jog I feel I can go on forever but as I'm typing this my feet ache like crazy. Haha. And we ran extra cos Chung Sun was late. 4 km! I am very happy pulang, cos I want to join this Holland marathon - perhaps the 10 km one :D See how far I can go before pengsan. Lol.
And then at night, a potluck. So much yummy Bruneian food! :D And tiramisu and milo. MMM, that's a stroke of genius!
Oh yea I got my bike. Town is much nearer now, although it's so tiring cycling up the bridge to Homerton. Must build up stamina! Hehe.

A post Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei style!
The voices of some English girls I know carries from the field outside to my room on the second floor.
Optimist: You can wave 'hi' to them from your window!!
Pessimist: Their superbly high-pitched soprano voices will never allow you to enjoy a choir ever again! All your appreciation of the arts will plummet to zero! The noise level is distracting you from your reading! DIEEEE
Ameline hasn't returned the three eggs she borrowed yet and I feel bad asking for it.
Optimist: Then go ask for it! :D She won't bite
Pessimist: You can never trust society again! There is no more reason to live! DIEEE
A lot of people that I had gotten close to seems to be dropping out or deferring or leaving - first Hannah, then Natalie and perhaps Natalie (there are 2 Natalies in my corridor)
Optimist: They had finally decided on what they really want to do in life. Hurrah!
Pessimist: They all HATE you! DUN DUN DUN DUNNN You'll be alone, alone in a wide wide sea~
The Importance of Being Ernest is playing and I'm going to watch it next week.
Optimist: Yea, that's right, that's the first play you had ever watched and it hooked you to a long sequence of play watching with Huan Hui and Nisa! Awesome!
Pessimist: ... You can't go wrong with Oscar Wilde.
AHHHH!!!! I'm very excited to watch the Importance of Being Ernest again!! :D :D :D I remember laughing non-stop from watching it the first time round. I watched it in my first year in Bedford. It feels so fitting to watch it in my first year in Cambridge :D

Dear Dongoi
Happy birthday king!!
In keeping with the tradition of the birthday post, Happy Birthday! But since you are the king, I need to add uniqueness to the post by typing it up and posting it ONE. DAY. LATE! (lies :p)
Anyways, I have known you ages (primary 6!) and don't think I'd get amnesia any time soon come so I remember the good times! You're a great person to know, inspiring my interest in drawing and things Mamo-related (Yuu not so much haha) and a funny, random person in general.
I hope you have a great time in Aussie, look forward to seeing you in 2011 and wish you all the best in your life~! :D
Happy Birthday Wanchai!
